Currently our donation will be given to the family of SGT. Joel Tavera. Joel is a patient at The VA Polytrauma Center in Tampa and is one of the worst 3 injured soldiers returning from the war. Joel is receiving great care by the VA and his parents who attend to him 24/7. Joel is 22 and was burned on 60% of his body, lost both eyes, lost his right leg and 4 finger tips. The Cintron Family (the franchisee of our USF Mr. Empanada) has adopted The Tavera Family and have been most generous with support so what better way to divert our small donations but to an adopted family of our own Mr. Empanada Family.
